Eleonora Karpukhova graduated from Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, with academic honors, in Prof. Kastelsky’s class. An assistant trainee in Prof. Mikhail Voskresensky’s class until 2003.

- First and Special Prizes at the 29th International Dr. Luis Sigall Piano Competition in Viña del Mar (Chile);
- Second Prizes at the International José Vianna da Motta Piano Competition in Lisbon (Portugal), the Varallo Sessia Competition (Italy), the Zlatko Grgošević Competition in Zagreb (Croatia), and many others.
The pianist collaborates with many renowned conductors and orchestras. She has toured to the best concert halls in Austria, Brazil, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain, as well as in the Netherlands and the United States, — includnig: Salle Cortot de Paris, Kleiner Konzertsaal in Gasteig (Munich), Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (Lisbon), Benaroya Hall (Seattle), and others.
The founder and organizer of the Rachmaninoff International Music Festival in Moscow since 2013. During the seasons of 2021–23, she has been reciting a series of eight concerts in which all Sergei Rachmaninoff’s piano and chamber pieces are to be performed. The project is dedicated to the composer’s 150th anniversary in 2023.
Eleonora Karpukhova has recorded Tchaikovsky’s and Rachmaninoff’s music on several CDs released by Classical Records.
