Born in Novokuznetsk (Kemerovo Region, Western Siberia).
Graduated from:

  • Piano Department of the Novokuznetsk College of Music (undergraduate, 1997);
  • Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory: graduate program (2002), postgraduate studies of composition (with Prof. Alexander Chaykovsky, 2005) and of foreign music history (with Prof. Natalia Gavrilova, 2006).

PhD thesis on György Kurtág’s oeuvre was defended at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (2009).

Compositions (selective list):
Symphony; Landscape, Steps, Through for chamber ensembles; Sextet for flute and five strings; An Autumn Suite for soloists, female choir and strings; Diesem Stern on the verses of Reiner Maria Rilke for soloists and chamber ensemble; Musical Kaleidoscope for children’s choir; and others.
