The Fifth International Competition-Festival The Time of Guitar was held with the support of Russia’s Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives. The auditions and workshops took place in the Moscow Conservatory. The artistic director of the festival was Assc. Prof. Dmitry Borodayev, President of the Moscow International Association of the Art of Guitar Performance.

A documentary video project The Return, implemented by the Ivan Starostin Studio and presented on 3 August 2024 on the Moscow Conservatory’s official website, was shown on 8 September 2024 in the October Cinema and Concert Hall.

The recording sessions of Elena Tarasova’s solo album took place in the last days of August 2024 in the Conservatory’s Great Hall. Piano transcriptions of Three Russian Songs (op. 41) and Symphonic Dances (op. 45), performed by the pianist in 2023, were included in the program of her monographic album of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s oeuvre. The project’s sound engineer is Ruslana Oreshnikova.
