M. I. Glinka. “Prince Kholmsky” and “Farewell to St. Petersburg”

The stage performance of the music to Nestor Kukolnik’s drama “Prince Kholmsky” and the premiere of the orchestral version of the vocal cycle “Farewell to Petersburg,” both composed by Mikhail Glinka (1804–1857), took place on 29 October 2024 in the Rachmaninoff Hall in honor of the 220^th anniversary of the Russian classical musician.
