On Savva Mamontov’s 180th Anniversary: Items from the Chernyshyovs’ Collection

The Mamontovs are a famous family of Russian merchants, known since the beginning of the 18^th century. The artifacts presented at the exhibition are related to the family’s everyday life at the turn of the 19^th–20^th centuries.

The organizer of the exhibition is N. S. Chernyshev, a member of both the Academy of Architectural Heritage and Russia’s Union of Painters. The exhibition is displayed in the foyer of the Great Hall from mid-November until the end of 2021.
