Changes to the program of the festival Moscow Conservatory Online

Due to the compulsory weekend announced by Russia’s government authorities, there will be no new online concerts in the period from 30 March till 7 April. Instead, we will broadcast some rare recordings from the Moscow Conservatory TV’s archives, among which are concerts, master-classes and meetings with outstanding musicians. Maestro Yuri Bashmet and the chamber orchestra The Soloists of Moscow, the pianists Nikolai Lugansky, Daniel Kramer and Alexei Melnikov, the organist Konstantin Volostnov, the multi-percussionist Petr Glavatskikh and artists from the chamber ensemble Moscow Virtuosi have already taken part in the concerts of the festival. All the recordings to be broadcasted are available for watching on both the website of the Moscow Conservatory TV and on its Youtube channel (section Videos). “We see the Moscow Conservatory’s mission in not letting our listeners remain culturally isolated at this difficult time,” said Rector Alexander Sokolov. So, we are going to meet at the Conservatory’s official website, as well as at both the Conservatory TV’s website and its Youtube channel at 7PM, as usual.

The soonest broadcast is Faustas Latenas’s recital held on 20 September 2018.
