Free online master-class of Alexey Chernov

On July 2, 2015 from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm Moscow time (GMT+3) we invite everyone to visit the website of the ArteVivo Academy and watch a free online master-class of an outstanding pianist Alexey Chernov, laureate of the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition and the IV International Scriabin Competition. The master class will be particularly useful to young musicians who are preparing to participate in international competitions.

Alexey Chernov is a graduate of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Royal College of Music in London, Lecturer at the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory, laureate of numerous international piano competitions. Having a wide repertoire, gives regular concerts, is the author of a number of works for piano, chamber music and symphonic works.

A free online master-class where maestro will share the secrets of mastery, examining Beethoven sonatas and works by Scriabin, about whose music Chernov says: "Scriabin's music will stay relevant in a hundred years from now because is was created "out of time", not following certain style or trends. It is this "detachment" that is so attractive in his works: listening to his music, one sees beyond the ordinary to another universe".
