New Transcriptions of Rachmaninoff’s Pieces in the Conservatory’s Audio Fund
The recording sessions of Elena Tarasova’s solo album took place in the last days of August 2024 in the Conservatory’s Great Hall. Piano transcriptions of <i>Three Russian Songs</i> (op. 41) and <i>Symphonic Dances</i> (op. 45), performed by the pianist in 2023, were included in the program of her monographic album of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s oeuvre. The project’s sound engineer is Ruslana Oreshnikova.

“Dialogues Beyond Time”
<i>Dialogues Beyond Time</i> is one of the concepts developed for the project <i>Opus universum</i> but unperformed during its previous seasons. The program introduced at the Rachmaninoff Hall featured Anna Yanchishina (violin) and Sergey Poltavsky (viola), as well as Alexei Kudryashov, Valeria Prokusheva, and Elena Tarasova (pianos); the latter is the artistic director of the project and an associate professor at the Moscow Conservatory.
